Farewell: A Word Which Started Something

Have you ever noticed that once you say hello, time would probably come for you to say good bye, too?

This incident is in fact mutual to everyone, since everybody has almost experienced this dispostion. I’m definitely referring to friendship, since as we all know, the NSCC’07 has just happened and the said ending made Ating Tahanan flood! It had made it flood in the sense that almost half of the house cried while some appear untouched, but actually, deep inside there were upsetting thoughts too. We can’t hide that, it's natural for everybody.

That event started a new thing: a deeper friendship for everyone to treasure eternally. Everyone, perhaps, is already raising their eyebrows as they read this entry, but it'd definitely possible to keep in touch with a mile-away friend with the technologies we're having right now. Through long distance companionship, we learned to miss someone, and so we tried to keep in touch with each other (a simple SMS would mean a lot to that somebody); and if that somebody replies, it would mean so esteemed that it would take months before you delete it!

For all the reasons that conference has given us, one could say that friendship doesn’t only exist when you’re together; tt could still be there as long as there’s a heart that says, I'll stay.
